Lt. General William Fraser III '74
Defense Secretary Robert Gates has announced recommendations to the President on Senior Air Force Leadership Positions. Lieutenant General William Fraser, III, Class of 1974, has been recommended to follow General Duncan McNabb as the next Air Force Vice Chief. General Fraser is currently the Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In that position he is the Chairman"s chief liaison and advisor on international relations and political-military matters. In addition to his numerous flying and command assignments in the bomber community, General Fraser has extensive wartime, contingency and humanitarian relief operational experience.
General Fraser was a member of the fish Drill Team and was on one of the original National Championship teams, In addition, he served as the Commanding Officerof SQ 10 his senior year in the Corps of Cadets.
